joe bob....maybe you should have not answered if u didnt know what it is....its more helpful....im know im answering but its to tell you to not post randomly.....i have heard of the katana barrel.
well i say its good cos u can adjust the bore size which is allwell and good cos u dont spend £17 each time to get a new bore. but if this breaks then u have to spend $130 on a new barrel instead of £17

The Katanas' have had mixed reception from what I have read. I know the first releases had problems and all had to be returned for some reason.
If its an adjustable bore your after I would go for a Powerlyte Scepter over one of these, there isn't much of a price difference.

Read about the Katana barrel, the twist lock system is supposed to be good, but unlike the freak system where you have a a sleave for every bore size, the katana can only do a few of the sizes in the range because of the nature of the twisting system.
