hey guys.

real noob at this lol. just started a job as a paintball marshal to get into the game again.

just wondering what the best gun to start off with is??? im not that interested in going tourney any time soon, so a marker that i can use every-now-and-again would be great.

been checking around this site:
www.paintballdirect.co.uk

and figured i could get a JT Excellerator 5.0 Electronic Semi for £130 with a free 200 standard hopper....but would this be a smart choice??? im looking to spend around £200-250 on hoppers, pots, pot pack and goggles.

or should i just stick with getting an impulse, cocker or angel???

thx for any help :D

go for an angel or a mech cocker, thers a couple on the classifieds, if you want to start off low try and find a spyder amg, tht way u will get all the stuff u need pack mask etc hopefully in a deal, if thts not wat u want i would say save up for a while so ucan afford a good gun and the rest of the gear you want, also do a search lots of info on the subject

I'd always say go second hand and buy from someone with a good rep on these boards. Tournament players are dead fickle so often sell on guns just to trade up to the next level. For example, there are loads of Angel LCDs around at the moment as everyone is trading up to A4s and Speeds. They are still very decent markers (and certanly better than the JT).
