I would like to know what sort of threads you follow closely on this board.
Do you only read the 'funny ones', or do you avoid those like the plague?
For instance, how many of you that post a lot in Speak your Brains follow the 'Jerry Braun' thread, not necessarily contribute to it, but follow it? I personally think it's one of the best threads so far.

Let's hear it!

Now this might qualify me as being a stalker but i tend to follow threads and look at posts that have been put up by people who i think have a vague clue as to what they are talking about!

I was gonna name names but that would get me flamed!

Yeah the jerry braun thread is probably one of the best so far, not forgetting the good ol 'why do non-yank teams suck so much' thread of course:D

Its not hard to see who knows what their smacking on about and who just dosnt have a clue, wonder if half these people can play as good as they talk?....

Funny is always good but I'm easily bored so I do it sorta like Stan--minus the stalker thing--and after I skim the thread titles I look for names. If nothing gets my interest I may check a thread or two out to see what's there.
As you can see from my registration date I haven't been posting long but I have been reading for awhile as the general tone is much higher here than most of the other boards--though spelling is universally deplorable. Fortunately ability to spell has nothing to do with intelligence.

I tend to follow the threads that may actually teach me something as I've not been playing that long... funny is good but much of it is 'in' humour, stuff that goes over my head either coz I don't know the people posting or am missing some vital bit of the jigsaw that makes it funny...

Interesting to note that some people don't appear to be interested in anything those less well informed than themselves have to say... but I suppose that does depend on the subject.

well that can be a bad thing..........like if they are rejecting an opinion just cos they have not been playing as long, that arogance.

but if it is to do with a situation then somebody who was not there may not know as much.............many an argument i have withnessed because people have heared half a story and jumped in with two feet without knowing the facts.

I enjoy the occasional joke here and there, but when they've got nothing to do with paintball it gets tedious after a while. I like the fact that a lot of humour is incorporated into many of the threads, some clever humour at that.

I love reading about how things work and learning more about how particular paintguns, hoppers etc. operate and how certain areas are being improved upon all the time.

I like reading peoples views on different topics. Eg. the cheating thread, the NPPL Jerry Braun thread, US vs. European teams etc.
It's great when we get some of the big guns stepping in and saying their bit about the whole situation and hearing how they feel about a particular subject. This is probably the main reason I stick to the P8ntballer boards above any others.

I agree with AJermstad, I prefer to be able to talk with every level of player and ability because it helps us new players to learn more and find out how the pro's think.
As for threads, anything cocker related, funny ones, and also like others have mentioned, ones where I know if a certain person started the thread, I know its gonna last ages or be really funny or wierd or helpful.

Jerry Braun??? Who TF is that? LOL I guess you can tell I haven't been following. Now as for what threads I do read or follow...
They tend to be the ones that catch my interest or I have 2 cents to put in. There is nothing exact that I read or follow.
