Just not feeling the love......

I recently received a marker in trade that I have been wanting one of for ages.
Now I have it in my hands, I know it will work fantastic, it feels light, nice to the touch and anno etc is lovely on, But ...... I'm just not feeling it, normally get a new marker and want to go play with it straight away, but nothing ..... I've got an old pump that I want to go out and play with more than this..... I'm not sure if its because I've wanted one for so long its now not living up to my imaginary expectations, and this is before i even hit a field with it.

Has this happened to any one else as soon (and this is the same day as i got it!) as they opened a box and picked their new marker up? Has there been a marker that although could be the same as other markers you have played with, just didn't feel right? is this the christine of markers?

Sometimes you just don't gel with markers....

I remember buying a PM8 off a guy at a training session, playing with it, and trading it the very same day for a Mini and some cash... admittedly I needed the cash but it was a huge mistake....

Sometimes the gun just doesn't feel right.

Same thing happened to me when i got a Geo on launch day,but the worst thing is i sold a beautiful shooting Droid to pay for it.............you live and learn
