I just moved here. I will be here for 2 years. Question is where are the good places to play? I live in pretty much Central London. Also where are the spots to hang with cool paintballers much unlike yourself?

Hey Geek,
hmmm, well my knowledge of sites is pretty limited but here are two telephone numbers of people I know and trust to give you a good day, the first is Niall Squire at Campaign paintball just outside London (approx 25 mins from central London by car), his number is 01932 865999, the other is Doug Setters at the Sidcup site (approx five mins from me but about forty mins from where you're at), he can be reached on 01634 864173, either one of these guys is gonna give you a good day out for your money.
As for wanting to hook up with any UK paintballers, hmmm, I would have to recommend against it as they are all weird as **** over this side of the water :)
I think the best thing to do is to try and hook up on this board with some people, people like Sparklie Chick and Co seem to have some sort of thing going on and she has a site about twenty mins from Central London.
So, I think you will be ok if you keep your eyes open on this board and give a few people an email who may be able to help you a little more than I.
Anyway, good luck with your studies (I presume that's why you are here) and have a great new year !
Regards
Robbo

There are a couple of sites in Greater London, Robbo mentioned Campaign, there's also Mayhem in Essex; http://www.mayhem-paintball.co.uk/index.html; GB paintball in Watford and St. Albans http://www.gbteam.com/paintball.html; and Combat Games Dorking http://www.ukpaintballgames.com/ ; Wargame paintball, Colney http://www.londonpaintballsupplies.uk.com/wgmain.htm; and Allied Command , Effingham Junction http://www.paintballgamesuk.co.uk/homepagesm.htm All of these are a short commute from central London. Theres also a couple of indoor sites, one in Islington (still using splattmasters, apparently!!!) and one near Liverpool street station. I don't have their addresses but you might should be able to find them with a quick internet search.
Also The UKPSF website http://www.ukpsf.com/ and the UK paintball guide http://www.paintballguide.co.uk/homepage.htm have paintball feild listings for the whole country.
Hope this is some help
I'm a rookie rec 'baller in London, and I could use a partner. Feel free to email me if you'd like to hook up some time

I think the indoor at islington is slimes thats if the are still going paintball by week day / evening club by saterday night sunday mornig thats to those of you who posess suitable intresting clothing and know or can blag a member. just goes to show sites every were.

If it's as I suspect at slimes the pumps make sense, a mate of mine played there when his work hired it out and I realy wouldn't fancy it knowing the building really full on. My tree surgeon played for their site team way back when and equally full on.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned Skirmish Bullswood! Quite frankly the best paintball site in the country!

Paintballgeek - If you fancy a quick look click on the 'Skirmish Bullswood' part of my sig. The site includes a map to the site!!

One question though. Why leave the States and come here? It's cold, wet and full of weirdo's.

(Wouldn't have it any other way myself!!)

Sparklie - What?
