Hi,

Just took arrival of my omazing nice new Nightkast cocker !!

its basically a worrbladed Outkast apart from its black and oooh its nice.

Anyway !

Questions !

Im a cocker..newb....not owned one before and dont wanna screw about with em incase a might break it .

2 Questions

Came with a black magic front reg which was not attached.

I presume i just screw it in - so i screwed it in but it stops before it reaches all the way in and is 'flush'. I presume that it CAN be screwed all the way in , but do you have to screw the few milimetres in with some force?

Second question

This may be obvious

Beavertail - it came with a beavertail, a washer and a screw. The washer and screw were in their own little bag - they are for the beavertail i presume?

Thing is the screw is pretty long and when i try to screw it in...it doesnt go all the way in and i cowardly stop (again i dont wanna break it)

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Itll be at the severe cup this weekend where itll be having its first few shots.

Its a virgin ;)

As you can tell im in a go000d mood - saved up for ages for this !

Cheers guys !!!

Eddie,
I have 2 questions for you. How come this post isn't in Techroom?
Are you out of your mind? (With no prior cocker experience I hope you have friends who know what's what and you received good manuals with the marker--not to frighten you or anything.)

1--reg needn't screw in all the way, typically doesn't. Does require a complete seal, however. Personally I would use blue loctite but barring that some carefully applied teflon tape is fine--just keep edges away from where they can end up in gun or reg.

2--washer and screw combo should end up flush.
