Hi all,

Coulpe of questions to the tech's out there. :)

First
Which marker would be suitable for a starter? (out of these 2)
a) Dragun (electronic)
b) JT 6.0 Excellerator (yes, i know 5.0 is better just entertain me here) :)

Second
If you were to get the Dragun which hopper/tanks are suitable?

If you were to get the JT 6.0 which hopper/tanks are suitable?

*Note: I have realized that the persons own playing style determines the gear, but for overall/general size is what I would like to know.
There are just one too many tank sizes out there to determine which is ideal.

Thanks in advance ... yet again. :D

although u did tell me not to....dont get the 6.0, get the 5.0 much better value for money, i have one
you will need to buy a new barrel for it first, as its really small.
20oz tank is fine on the gun, i use a smoked x board revvy and it goes fine, unless your givin it some preverbial 'welly':D then it will start to chop balls. but if u keep it down to 12 bps it is absolutely great, good accurcay even with stock barrel, and its pretty well made, go for the JT
PS. JT 6.0 is really pointless, why the hell do you want some american saying "you have 3 minutes remaining"???? or woteva???

Well, as most of the people here have said the voice prompts arent' useful. I can understand that.

why the hell??? its £60 more for something not useful and gives your position away!!!! imagine trying to bunker someone with a bloody voice going "please reload your hopper" or summink.
with that £60 u can get your 20oz bottle, on/off switch and anti syphon tube + a pack with pots or half of a new barrel, of half a hopper!!!!!!!

Hardcore Pawn !!!!! :D
if u add another £11.14 to that £60 u could get a brand spanking new clear or coloured 12v revvy.

If u want to have a look goto www.planeteclipse.com and goto marker accesories/loaders,plastics and go down th epage until u come to them. Look sexeh and i just bought one :D

(The blue transparent one will look good with Accelerator 5.0 :D )

Keep and eye on the link under my sig as it should be going up soon.

A more accurate estimate of shots per 20 oz tank would be closer to 700, that would be your best size for co2 (I'm assuming you're not going to be buying a nitro tank), a 12 volt rev with or without Xboard should be more than sufficient to keep up with the Dragun or the Excellerator, and whatever you do, don't buy a spyder.

BTW,
There is no such thing as a paintball "gun". "Gun" refers to firearms which use a controlled explosion to expel sharp projectiles at extremely high speeds and kill people. In paintball we use "markers" they use compressed gasses to expel gelatin capsuls filled with washable paint at relatively low speeds (compared to a gun) and mark an opponent as part of a game.
