Ive heard that they leak quite a bit! Ive never used one personally but im sure ive read a few posts about Excellerators leaking!

yes and i am the other one that is talking about excelerator's leaking, and I am the one that has the peice of crap, but they are pretty good when they are working, but my vertical feed adapter fell of does anyone know what i should do i cant screw it back in for some reason
well they do leak alot but i suppose if you take real good care of it and dont take it apart ever (mainly the front volumizer) then it will probably work just fine.

I have a JT 4.0, now as a backup gun, and I've found that as long as you oil the internals (don't put oil in the asa/regulator) every now and then you should be fine. Make sure you oil the low pressure chamber before you gas it up, though, or it may leak... that said, I love my JT and wouldnt trade it for.... any other blowback I like the heftiness of it (all metal parts) and it balances very well. Plus, the stock barrel is just about as good as they get.

Just played series 2002 with a new Excellerator 5.0. Good all round gun, the only problem I had was if you get any smeg in the bolt, after about ten shots it only half cocks, so you need to really keep it clean (not that I stayed in any of the games longh enough for that to make a difference!!). My FPS kept going up and up all day, but I'm running it on Co2, so thats not really the markers problem.
Apparently the feed tube is Locktite'd in, but I wouldnt know how to put it back.
One more word of advice: Planet are selling the 5.0 for £180, LPS (where I bought mine) £330. You do the maths!!
