right i have mates piece of **** jt ex 6. it wont run no matter what i do to it. it de-cocks every time attempt to take a shot. yet when it has a ball in it it will some times fire once or twice before decocking. any ideas.
lol well yeh i know i would but its not mine. Its a friend of mine who used to play a bit. Basically ive replaced every o-ring, tried a diff reg on it, i put a ton of lube in there (normally works for me ). Ive even tried a diff bolt and i still cannae get the fecker working. Anyone who has any real ideas other than chucking it away i would be glad to hear from you!
You must make sure it is the correct hammer o ring or it will cause enough drag to de-cock it,also if you are running co2 in the cold try removing the filter stone in the bottom line it allows far better gas flow to re-cock it properly.
Thanks guys. Maybe i should mention ive tried both air and co2 neither have any effect. Also orings were fine before i changed them and they were all the standard rings that came with the gat (if you can call it that) also operating pressure reads fine ive even tried runnign a lot more thru it but still nowt. Also it confuses me that once u put a ball in the gun it will fire a few shots then stop.
Also whenever i think ive cracke dit the gat will fun fine for about 5mins straight so i leave it a lone for a while ready to give it back. Then i try it before i do that somethimes only liek an hour after i leave it alone and nothing same problem. !?!?!? its really got me stupped. Ill admit gladly that i dont know alot about these but it seems pretty basic like any spyder really and ive never had this problem in any other clone ive had on the site where i work that i wasnt able to help fix neways.
mainly was hoping some1 had had this problem already and could tell me how they'd fixed it.
Mr LPS said take out the filter stone, Mook.
If its full of crap, oil, dirt, Dans love juices, it wont work too hot...if it has a ball in...the back pressure, along with teh markers pressure, may be enough to recock it.
I won't pretend that I know anything about th Jt Excelerator...but many moons ago when I had of ye olde Tippman pro/am if the velocity of the gun wasn't high enough it wouldn't recock.
i would agree with an earlier post mate recheck the hammer seal replace it wit a genuine seal if not 1000% sure its fine. I,ve wasted hours on similar fault for the sake of a seal
