JT 5 Mods

I own a JT 5 and was wondering if there is a bolt mod that i can get hold of to help it fire at a faster rate.

The reson is my self and a m8 have been training with one for about 2 months now and as we lern to use the marker our fire rate has improved to the point were the marker and bolt cannot keep up with us ..

we are constanly brakeing balls in the breech of the barrel and haveing lots of jams while practcing fireing at a fast rate. The balls seem to but and jam the bolt so that i have to use a stick to unjam it.

So is there anyimprovents bolt mods that i can use for this problem as it is realy annoying us ...

The only thing that will stop a JT jamming is a force feed loader, like an evo 2, these are £60 from www.justpaintball.com and feed at about 17-18 bps (much faster than a JT 5.0)

another thing to look out for is a delrin bolt, as this will lighten your internals and make our gun cycle faster!

Another upgrade might be to sell the JT's and buy impulses, you'l be amazed at the difference in quality, because they are such better guns (i upgraded from a JT 5.0 to an impy, much better, although i am shooting an angel now )

Yip i tested some other markers at KOTH today and thought to my self about about buying a better marker ..

Ill be putting my marker up for sale soon.

It was mentioned in this thread before, but the problem ain't so much the bolt, it's the rate at which the balls are fed. Get a faster loader. That should fix most of your problems.

mine still jammed when i was soohting 8bps with an x-board revvy

i was convinced to buy a different marker when i was lent an eclipse impulse for a game!

Stick another hammer o-ring on the hammer and lube it....should work then

They also behaqve soooooo much better on air, try buying a preset air system, about £80 from www.p8ntonline.com. This improves their reliability hugely. so you could spend £150 on upgrades to make it work well, or you could just buy an autococker or impulse.

I know that TM has his 5.0 on Air already and is using a x-Board Revi (or maybe normal), so outshooting it I would of thought not possible, check out the class section m8 and see what ppl are selling 2nd hand and you should be able to get yourself a nice Angel/Impy for not that much

hehe ... yip -- im improveing my fire rate slowly but shurly i was chatting to dave today think im gonna splash out for shur - going to sell the marker even though its fairly new and may be hop on bord for a better faster marker .
