What is "dwell" on a gun? How can it be adjusted, and how can it affect firing? What is "trigger bounce"? How can it affect firing? What the hell is "gun bounce", and once again, how can it affect firing? Im going to my first real tourney in 2 days, and I know the refs there are sticklers about all these terms, and how we shouldnt fu** around with them illegaly on our markers. Just curious what the hell they're talking about, and to make sure I wont break any rules:confused: Haha, anyway, if you got a clue what Im talking about, lemme know. Thx.

Trigger Bounce - 'When the marker fires more than one ball per pull', so if more than one ball leaves the marker when you pull the trigger once that is trigger bounce.

Gun Bounce - Think is it the same as trigger bounce, not sure though.

Dwell - no idea!

Trigger bounce - this is when your trigger is set so fine that when you pull once on the trigger the marker fires twice or more.

Gun bounce - again this happens when your trigger is set to fine, and the physical movement of the gun when firing will cause the gun to shoot more than one shot per pull.

Dwell - this is the setting that determines the length of time the ram stays open. Shown in milliseconds, the longer the dwell the more air is fed to the ball, more dwell, more velocity.

Hope this helps....:)
