Jargon Translation please...

I've been reading through the "Enforcing the rules & Unsportsmanlike Conduct" thread & i need a few thiings translated:

3-4-1

1-4-1 means one extra player is taken out of play in addition to the offending player

3-4-1 means two extra players are removed in addition to the offender, this is the call that gets screwed up the most though 'cos it is a little difficult to keep track of all the players removed after the original call for a 3-4-1 can actually end up being a 4/5-4-1 (dependant on the team size)

Overshooting means (generally) doing a mugging and emptying a hopper into the player also called bonus balling but that is normally when an eliminated player is walking off the field and they get shot up with arm band removed or not but at the very least indicating that they are out

I thought 3-4-1/3-for-1 was 3 extra players eliminated plus the original offender?

confusion!

I think maybe Mark made a typo there. He did say that a 1 for 1 means that the offending player is removed plus one other making a total of two. I think he meant to say that a 3 for 1 is when 3 extra players (plus the offending one) are removed and not 2 as he typed??? See millennium rule 12.02 for clarification.

It was a sorta typo...as the original reply post I made was done just as the site entered the twilight zone of 11.50pm-12.10am for housekeeping it dissapeared !! so I had to re-do it, so confusion and the late hour combined
