this thread is partly to do with the (daily mirror thread)
but i would just like to address the fact that
banning paintball over a few F'ked up jerks
fireing paintballs at a persons house is highly unfair.

The office are getting all the things it can find to ban paintball,
but they cant because it is turning into a small industry.
but still.. paintball is a cult sport witch is at a very vounrable stage
of being banned.. and this is why we are singled out

 its not fair people should understand that most ballers
are mature and use their guns in a proper way.
but you get the odd t*at who spoils our chances of paintball
becoming an offichal sport for generations to come!

Well apart from being a very repetitive moan using bad grammar and spelin, you are correct.
However I don't think we have too much to worry about, I don't see many "Ban Paintball" pressure groups, and if there were I'm willing to bet we could make a bigger "Make Paintball and OFFICIAL sport" pressure group! :D
So long as we separate the playing part of the sport from the muppets who use markers to cause trouble we are Ok, I mean how many people have been beaten up with a baseball bat or a golf club?!

Sephiroth - If you're worried about it, I hope you and your team mates are UKPSF members - they do loads of good work getting towards getting paintball recognised as a sport and the more members the better.

Incidently, I once played a punter day with Ewan Blair (Tony Blair's son) at the Campaign site, so that's Labour on our side! Well kinda, ok, not at all, but at least I shot his bodyguard - woohoo!

Havent seen the Daily Mirror article to comment on that, but can someone tell me if it was a proper marker/paintballs or one of the toy ones that are easily available to anybody?

I think these toy ones should be banned first as the safety aspect is left to the child/parent making sure they have got the supplied glasses on. All a bit too dangerous for my liking let alone the issues of responsible ownership!:(
