Its a sad day in the paintball world

Its a sad sad day in Paintball. Today i learn from the main man himself that its over.

Mark Toye - aka 'the silver fox' is retiring. Now those of you who know mark will no just how f**king good he is. Has played for shades of grey, few good men, rushers and finished on a highest of highs playing for Nexus.
I am sure that lots of people know more details about his carear than me but hay thats what i know.

I am sure though that he wont be able to resist the tourny scene for long and will soon be back shredding fools before we know it.

Not only a great player but a great coach. Always keen to help others, as myself, Few Good Men, Rushers and anyone else he has helped will agree. From what he told me he will be staying in the coaching scene.

Mark, don´t do it bud, you know its in your blood!!! You´ll never be free of the paintball bug!

I have to say I have had the pleasure of playing paintball with Mark on and off for many years and he is, without doubt, one of the best people you are ever likely to meet in paintball. If he is going to retire (dont do it mate!) then I am very glad to have played alongside him for so long and I have learnt a lot from him, and not just paintball-wise.

If you do chuck it in mate then you´re always welcome to come out here and play anytime, the warmer weather will be better for those old joints!

You know Toye wont be too far away from the field, it aint never gonna happen. Least this way he can concentrate on his other hobbies (curry and beer) and still make it down the local tourney to have a nose around

You forgot Marks other hobby, his lifetimes work!! The Toye grading system, where Mark evalutates the quality and service of every McDonalds in the country. I hear that the new one in Croydon only got 2 ´Greying Beard´s, they will have to do better!

Mark, you will always be a part of Nexus! - You think that cause you retired you wont be up in Nottingham half as much?!?! - You wont be able to resist it dude!!

You fulfilled your dream! - Mission accomplished!

i know you are going to be reading these,so don't do it mate you know you will not stay away you have to many freinds in our large paintball family. But if you do give up i would just like to say good luck with what ever your going to do, its been great knowing you, just remember your still a member of our family

Thank goodness for Scutty I've often wondered what greyscale has meant in photoshop and now I know

Who is this Mark Toye guy? Jesus a bloke quits and you all think he has died. Never heard of him myself, sounds like top fella though

Oi Toye good luck in what ever you are going to mate (I know ).

I am sure Mark will not be too far away. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mark for years and it is always a pleasure to see him never a bind. I have also shot him on the goggles in Toulouse one over each eye!

He has finished were we all want to at the top. So Mark stand up and be counted mate you deserve it.
