Hi guys, just wondering if its legal to have a speedball field at my house for me and my friends to play on, it wouldn't be open to the public so only private use and training but is this ok to do?
Thanks

Is the land truely private? Eg farmland is part of a business and not construed as private
Are you preventing anyone from accessing the land even if they are trespassing?
Eg fence off, put up safety signs etc
Is it a sufficient distance from public highways?

Legal yes, not necessary safe and a good idea

The landowner and you (if not owner) become liable for any incident

You need all the facilities, netting etc, chronos, safe areas, control of people masking up & making safe, plus good relations with the neighbourhood

Being honest pal I would ask the local police anyway and just let them know before somebody rings em anyway then next min you get a swat team goes all Charlie sheen on ya
Haha ye ok, i was thinking about getting insurance like sites do but apparently i don't need it as long as i have all the signs and equipment, i redirected all fencing and netting around at extra range of 30 metres and I've got a chrono to make sure its all fair, the air is at 3000psi in my scuba tank and so far its going well :)
