IS this bottle in test?

I have just bought a second hand hand 'geddon and was the told the bottle had another month of test on it! It is dated 04/99 so wouldn't that put it 11 months out of date? Any help would be usefull!!

Yes, as a matter of fact it would. They need to be rehydroed every 3 years (well, some of the new ones are 5 years, but since that one is older, it is most certainly a 3 year bottle) You need to have it hydroed or else nobody will fill it for you.

As I've been told most bottles are each 3rd year, BUT some steel bottles (also older steel bottles) are only each 5th year... I don't think the 'Geddon is one of these though...

Actually, you know what? I think it is in hydro date. It's still got a month to go 4/99-4/2000, 4/2000-4/2001, and now 4/2001-4/2002.

But doesn't that mean it was due for test in April 2002?

It being 2003 now I would think it's well out of test date

I forgot there was a year between 2001 and 2003. Believe it or not I CAN count, just not at 2:30 in the morning.
