Is this board difficult to use??

Or are people afraid to use it??

It would be interesting to know how many members regularly use the board and which sections they are actively participating in.

If there are thousands of members why don't they get typing?? Or is the board too daunting to get started on??

If you can work it out - drop this thread a line. It is just that there seems to be very little in the way of variety in those participating.

When Killeronion leaves the country the number of posts will halve!!

And with the number of players stateside this board should be overheating.

Do you think it's a perception thing? ie there's a lot going on but because it's not linear like on the last board, it's not as obvious? There's a lot more threads here than the last board.

The site has more traffic now than it has ever done; the membership is up to 620ish, the subscriber list to the newsletter is enormous and I'd hazard a guess that there's more people posting now than on the old board.

Perhaps there's nowt exciting at the moment? Or it could be that a board member has a certain longevity. To a certain extent people are discussing topics now that were on the agenda 14 years ago. There's only so many times that you can discuss wiping, or marshalling or whatever without getting bored.

I don't personally think it's daunting, crikey there's a bit of piss taking, but nobody is getting slagged off. I'll repeat what i said from another thread - people should be doing more on the newbie section. As a matter of interest, how often do you look at it?

Perhaps its because this board doesn't offer anything the existing ones already do.

Not meant as a criticism but with PBcity now open to non paying members again, IPR, completepaintball and pbnation already up, its fairly clear where most of our stateside players are.

P8 is fairly eurocentric from what I can see.

the Board will come to life closer to tournies such as EPPL or NPPL/Worldcup. the problem as I see it is that most of the stuff we post here only involves a small percentage of the players who visit. For once this is a board where people only seem to be posting when they have something to say (with a few notable exceptions - you know who you are!!).

We are very serious about how highly we rate our Impulses and any chance to show them off is taken!!

Anyone want to how good a voodoo Impulse works come see me, Andy or Nick down at Temple this weekend (or any of the Rushers anytime - apart from troughing time).
