Is this a good plan?

So hey guys, I'm new here and as you can probably guess I want to take up paintballing.

What I'm thinking of doing is getting a helmet first of all, then going to punters days. Then when I've figured out how often I can go and other things I'm going to start buying other bits of kit like the marker.

Then start going along to Walk-Ons at Rednal, get better then hopefully go to a novice tournament and see how it goes

Does this sound like a good plan to all you pros? Or could it use some work?

by helmet Im assuming you mean mask, if not make it! Helmets, in my opinion and experience, simply mean you get hit in the head more.

Yeh, I meant a mask. I've got the JT Spectre Flex-8. Is this a good choice? It's got a thermal lens and it's comfy as hell

iv got 2 flex 8's
only problem iv ever had is that sometimes they can be a pain to take apart and clean.

Dont recommend going to punter days unless its cheap paint, whenever i've gone to them I spend like £60 on 1000 balls instead of £30 for a case -_-

get yourself a long to warped paintball j3 m54 they run 2 club days a month very friendly and relaxed they cater for all players rec,scenario and sup air.they shoot lots of different guns and most lads will let you try their guns out and give you lots of advise about buying kit.

How far away from Shrewsbury is warped paintball? Please bear in mind I am only 15 (16 soon ) so transport is a concern
