Is this a good kit to start with for speedball?

Hey,

Always wanted to get in to paintball for real and finally got the time and money for it.

So this is what i been thinking of geting, please advise me to get something else if you know something that would be and upgrade for the same amount of money.

Etek 3 Am - Dark lava
Dye Rotor Paintball Loader - Liquid Red
Ninja Grey Ghost Carbon Fiber Air Tank w/ Adjustable Regulator - 68/4500
Sly Paintball Mask Profit Series - Zinc
Empire 2009 09 React Pack Paintball Harness - 4+7

If i were to buy this is it necessary to get a zick2 kit and a cure+3 and a emortal board upgrade kit at the same time? or will this be fine as it is.

all that kit is perfect apart from the ninja bottle, you cannot legally use them in the UK because they are not PI tested. take the money and buy a guerilla tank which is of the same high quality

and the etek3 shoots great out the box, don't bother upgrading it with anything, unless you want the lcd screen. in which case maybe go for a second hand ego instead?

Mask comes down to personal preference, if you can have a look to try masks on. I was not keen on the profits, personaly prefered grillz. Its the one bit of kit you should value above all other so make sure thats right for you.

ok, cool guys thanks for the tips, just out of curiosity. When a new version of lets say ego gets released how much do the paintball shops drop the previous model in price? like how much did the ego 10 drop in price when the 11 came out?

I remember when the ego 11 came out, planet eclipse had like 5 ego 10's for sale and i think they where like £699, so they knocked about £300 off, although i also think they where 2nd hand markers aswell.

one thing to point out is that there will not be an ego 12, so you may be waiting a while for a new ego model to be released
