Basically im looking for my first gune, someone offerd it to me for a little over 150 with electric hopper is it worth it?

£150 is well to steep for that imo. You could pick up a similar gun (ie spyder clone) for around £80 in the classifieds maybe less+ and electric hopper for around £20 aswell.Or are you talking dollars?

You are being steeped a bit there. Seen your thread on the classifieds....

To give a ballpark, I just sold a Spyder Electra with a Smart Parts aftermarket Barrel, Spare Barrel, Charger, Battery, Co2 bottle, and barrel condom for £90.

If you ask on the classified forums for a blowback recball marker, ask for the full set-up and set the maximum you're prepaded to spend. There's a lot of guys out there with blowback backup markers that they'll part with for a reasonable price....but bear in mind the price i've noted above...a revvi hopper should only add £20 to that if it comes with the set-up.

(Also make sure if you buy a blowback that you DEFINITELY only want to play recball...you could be better splashing the extra cash for something a little more tournament friendly, and you'll kick yourself if you buy a blowback now and end up with the depreciation when you want to sell it after only a month (Been there!)

^ yeah that. If your looking to get into the tourney scene then save your hard earned cash for a second hand Angel LED/LCD or possibly an impy (if you dont mind SP )
Impy would be the cheaper option as you would pay about the same for the marker but you can run an imp on co2 while Angels dont like air

the phiranas are half decent markers,£150 isn't a bad price with gas and a revvy + a spare barrel if p+p is included
ps spyders are poo

Marker 2nd hand £60/70 (if used once)
Spare Barrel 2nd hand £10/15(probably stock)
Plug 2nd hand pennies
Gas 2nd hand (assumin 20oz pin v) £20/25
VL 12-Volt X-Board hopper 2nd hand £20/25

as pump says ur being a bit to careless with your money...read his advice especially about what pb u playing, and use the above as a guide only.

don't build your hopes up guys if you are trying to sell anything to this dude. this kid was going to buy that marker off me for £150 including bottle, used once revvy 12v with x board (clear) batteries ,barrel and overnight recorded postage, as well as a couple of pods of paint for good measure.

asides from that i am not out to rob anyone, i asked what i thought was a fair price for the piranha and the extras. i also agreed to hold the marker on a small deposit for FOUR WEEKS and then let him pay the rest of the money. i cannot see how much fairer i can be than that.

so now i know that the marker is not going to sell for that any offers. (barrel now sold)???

Sorry bud, definitely wasn't trying to imply that you were out to rob the guy!

£150 is fair for what you mentioned there, On vean's classified thread it didn't mention exactly what you were throwing in at that price....unfortunately though, electronic blowbacks are fairly generic and there'll be people that can beat that price for a full setup, and if someone asks for advice about that, they'll get told that fact.....

I was just offering a newbie the advice I wish i'd have got as I wasted money playing with Spyders and taking the depreciation when I moved on up to better specced stuff... (and I *really* didn't imply that he was being careless with money to take that offer.....damn misquotes )
