Im like Polyfilla I fill cracks
Now that the sport has grown isn't it time to get the leagues running again..
they actualy show you your standing over the long term and any disparity in skill levels between areas
E.g the southern teams are better than northern Ones which was alaways a much argued statment...

whats your Feelings on this one

1 leagues start again ?

2 which part of the country makes the best teams and Why ?

I would like to know, what you call the North?
The 2002 events, organised by Bully. Are listed as a Northern Tourny, But if i have to travel over 2 hours South, then to me its more like a Midlands location?
Would welcome a Northern tourny, up north. (YES i know where the OCT. event is!!)

Its all gone quiet about the new leagues, hope people have not changed their minds about it!!

rancid

Mother, is that you?
I've never been a big fan of leagues.

1) get fed up of playing same teams month in month out
2) Grudges grudges grudges
3) No-shows (or teams at less than full strength).
4) Committment
5) Results too easily manipulated over a season.

Just out of curiosity my lovely friend, why would you seperate the novice and entry into 5 man teams and the am and pro in to 7 man? I can't see the point???;)

chipster, i would guess as a lot of entry and novice teams are struggling to get 7 dedicated players.

Not really a problem that apoc have as we are about to break into the 20 figure but i know a lot out there have this problem.

Chip sweetie,

I said earlier I have spent hours researching this one.

Every one wants decent facilitys at a reasonable price and the trend is we are all moving over to air.

The novice and entry teams want to play.

But at am and pro there are slightly diffrent agenda's.

I have spoken to am and pro teams who have said they don't bother playing the tourneys already running and just train because at their level they need practise for milleniums 7 man. 5 man is not giving them that.

If the feed back I get here is every one wants 7man then I am happy to do this.

We will also be holding other tourneys on site not included in the leauge ie 3 man, some teams only just manage to scrape 3 players togther some put in 2 teams.
