i used to have a spyder

till it was nicked (thread below) and really liked it!
Good solid gun, but prob not worth it if you are planning on playing tournament(sup air fields).
It wont keep up with the big boys and if I were you I'd get a proto rail (250 new) or an ion (like £100 on this forum).
Its not a bad gun, but spyder parts are harder to track down in uk- not that well supported!!!!
hope that helps!!

Plenty of better 2nd hand markers for sale in the classifieds mate. Worth saving that bit of extra cash as when you want a better one the re-sale value on the spyder will be nothing.
Go along to a tournament, have a look around and I am sure some guys will let you try their markers.
If you are anywhere near UCZ, Exeter on the 10th Dec, you are welcome to try my Nexus EGO and EGO7.

i have a pilot acs but have got an outkast and must say that its an ace first gun its fast enough to keep up in that aspect but alot of vibration through the gun means u regularly have to retighten bolts n stuff and also the anti chop bolt does reduce chops but not half as good as eyes and even though its a good gun the iion beats it in all aspects such as weight, size, its a spyder, alot of vibration, external working parts, it drinks battery fluid, the charger dosn't work, it hasn't got eyes, it needs a feed tube on top of the neck cos its a spyder, is hard to upgrade as its hard to come across parts for it so for the price get an ion cos will last u longer as u will want upgrade after bout 4-6 months

although it says 20bps on the box i doubt you will be able to realisticly shoot that fast with paint as the pilot ACS is a blowback marker. this means that when a shot is fired excess air will be blown back up the feedtube and counteract the force of the paintballs when been fed into the breech.

or putting it simply... ION
