really dumb question but since you guys all seem to be a font of knowledge thought id save the hassel of trawling cyber space to find out.

is the new angel fly basiclly a new cut up a4 with extra bling and shiney bits, cause i had a go at one at pa and liked it (fly that is)
but dont realy want to shell a grand out for it when i could get a a4 in the clasified for about half that.
More or less want to know is it same weight, size, have the same gubins and lightness to it

The new Fly is an A4, but with a bit milled off it, and an eye. The eye is actually a proper eye as well, rather than a sensi cops like system

I had a shoot of Jason Andre's from Arsenal, in HB, and it was fast as hell!;)

The Fly is a 4, but with Angel Eyes instead of Sensi. Because of the lack of Sensi, air flow is slightly better, as there is no diverter plate in the air path, and the milling is about the same. The 4 has the same feel, and personally, I've been able to shoot rails with absolutely no chops with Sensi (COPS was the same for me, I don't understand what all the anti Sensi sentiment is about, but the Beam Break fanatics demanded an Angel with an eye, and now they've got it), and I don't think the difference in eye systems is as spectacular as some would have us believe. So, if you liked the feel and shootability of the Fly, the stock 4 should be pretty comparable.

The FLY can also run as a far less LPR. Think they've had it down to like 36psi (A4 normally about 50psi), so this will help with brittle or lower quality paint.

I have both an A4 and a FLY. I prefer the FLY myself.

You can achieve a slighty lower LPR pressure because of the better gas path. They say about 35 psi. But I've got my 4 down to 45, and getting to 45 is no difficult feat, so I mean, it's only 10 psi. Some people swear by the eyes, but I've never been a huge fan, and I especially hate having unsightly wires and wire covers running up the side of my marker, I vastly prefer the internal Sensi system, and I really don't think I'm getting any fewer balls per second than I'd be able to get with the Angel Eyes. To each his own. But if you liked the Fly, and just don't want to spend that much money, you could buy a stock 4, and the feel would be basically the same.
