Yesterday's Guardian

in the supplement they had a list of 100 things to make sure you do in 2004...

in the 30s was 'avoid the paintball world cup at Toulouse in July'

they mustn't agree with the new MS rules either :D

Guardian things to do in 04

Follow this link and look at number 43;

43 Avoid the paintball world cup in Toulouse (July 4-6), where 120 teams from 30 countries are expected to participate.

So whats your thoughts??

Is this good or bad?

My thoughts are that paintball is in there - 'theres no such thing as bad publicity'.

Most people wont even know we had a World Cup. Maybe some will be moved to find out more.

Maybe someone can write a piece for the Guardian to publish in reply!!

Mark

Ps apologies to Saris who posted this up first - just thought we'd better make this more obvious and get more interest

Has anybody actually e-mailed the gaurdian, or try to contact them at all about this as surely avioding any football match in the world would be better advice than avoiding the paintball world cup!??!?!?!!?!?!

Anyways Mirror al the way :)

I don't think it was a derogatry comment by someone trying to quash a paintball rebellion. I think they just put it in there to suggest to people that want a nice quiet holiday in Toulouse that July wouldn't be the best time. If there was a some kind of huge volley ball tournament they would probably say the same.
