Is my bottle UK legal?

I bought a 1.1L 300 Bar tank and wondering if its legal because its stamped USA?

Yes

between the D and 0035 is a Pi mark making it Uk legal.

its got the mathmatical symbol for pi so your ok in the UK but you have missed the born date in the pic. So cant say if its in test or not which makes it illegal at sites and tournies.

Thanks for that, i was worried then when i just opened the packaging. I was looking the words pi not the symbol.

I got a degree in physics and still didnt notice the pi symbol (dumb ass)lol

Ouch. No worries mate, its not something that springs to mind. Glad you didnt didnt waste the $$ on the bottle but maybe that retake will cost more

With a Final Date of 2018/10 and a 15 year overall life it should have been retested before October 2008 and have a testing certificate and a label lacquered onto the bottle. If it doesn't have there then it can't be legally filled!

Yeh I know it needs testing, going to take to a company called remar safety near me. Only £20 to have it tested. Just gotta get the dam reg off so they can test it.

Not familiar with remar safety but I know with HPAC you give them the whole bottle. Unless the testing centre have asked you to remove reg which I would find unusual I would leave it on.

Had my bottle tested and it failed, the dam reg was cross threaded and they wouldnt have been able to remove it. So I haven't got a tank to use now
