Hi there i need to remove the backplate of my 2001 Angel LCD, But the middle right screw alan key has RED/GREEEN loctite in it, and sum1 said that i could use a solder ion to losen the bonds in red locite so i am goin g to try it ( if it doesn't work then that mean its going to be green and does ne 1 know nething i could use to break the bond for green ), i think this is perfectly safe but i wanted to make sure,, Cheers

DO NOT TAKE THE BACK PLATE OFF! I did when i had an Angel LCD and it was a total bitch to get back on, took me 2 hours to get the spring back in and re attach ther plate, it is SO fiddly, and a waste of time, take it to an Angel tech and let them do it! Otherwise you will regret it as the spring is really smalll and bounced a long way, took me ages to locate it on the floor!

LOl, i hafta 2 do sumthing cos paint and dirt have go into the breach shaft and it become sticky and jams sumtimes i just need to get it out and rub it down ne ways i'm not doing it now, cheeers for the warning thou guys thanx

Piece of piss mate, it really aint that hard at all! Just do it slowly and watch out for the spring which is ion the right hand side as you look at the back plate, (its for the breech rod).

If you get stuck post on here. Its really easy though!

how do you take out the hammer

pig all u have to do is take off the back plate like collier says(it is easy) and u nscrew the hammer and ram. Bare in mind to do this properly u need a angel too kit and u may have to re ajust ur snap ring after

First time its a real pain just make sure the spring dosent fly out and u be careful with the switch wire's.
Clean the rod and shove a load of lube on it makes it lovely and smooth just like new....
