Searching for the pro-tour....:S
I think the worst is when you get thefts at walkon sites.

The guy who just nicked your gun might be the same guy you
gave a set of batteries last week!

But question is are the people hitting the stores from inside the sport or opportunists who've just picked up on what the kit is worth? I hope its the latter but what do you guys think?

www.walkonzone.com
must be a nation wide scam
No just bastad theives getting smarter.

My advise is;

1: Put on a jacket/top or something to cover your playing shirt.
2: NEVER leave anything paintball related on show in your car.
3: If you think someone is following you when you leave a site/tourney don't stop till you've got rid of them.
4: Always when paying for fuel lock your car, doesn't matter if u have anything of value in there they may just want your car.

Where is all this gear going?,fair enough site gear is easier to shift than custom kit,but its a small market to sell into,any custom gear like the Dye `cocker and the Impys from Planet would have been easy to spot at a tourney etc.,and a paintball marker ain't like a DVD player i.e. something lowlifes might buy for £50 in a pub.Is it going abroad or are we about to see tossers using stolen gear for vandalism,shooting from cars and loads of other things that'll reflect on the legit. `ballers BADLY as,like with the firearms ban debacle,its easier for the govt. to pick on the honest paintballers and ban it.

Well Mr Onion I do agree that it was only a matter of time and that markers are indeed valuable items that may have a black market in the US due to the large number of players\fields etc.,but in the UK the paintball community is a fraction of the American one and it would make it difficult to sell on kit like this as most people know each other and their gear.
Another problem is that most of these thefts were not "shoplifting" but actual break ins\burglarys done when the shops or sites were closed ,which normally means a planned raid and a waiting buyer so as I asked before where is this gear going ?
