Noticed a few on the forums for sale as Inverts, but just took a look at the Empire site and the Empire mini has the same logo and looks exactly the same. Did they get bought out?

Thinking of selling my Ion for one as they are current and parts will be easy to come by, unlike the Ion where I would guess parts would be more difficult because of the demise of Smart Parts

Invert is to Empire what Proto is to Dye. They're both owned by KEE, but that seems quite an accurate description of their relationship.

It was originally the Invert Mini - or the Empire Invert Mini, but now it seems to have been rebranded the Empire Mini in their 2011 catalogue (despite being littered with the Invert logo), probably due to the impending release of the Empire AXE. They are the same guns, name aside, and I think they'll still be in production alongside the AXE meaning spares will be in supply for a long time yet.
:)

Fun fact: The Proflexes are now called the Empire Proflex.

similar to the events and avatar goggles. just a load of crap marketing for the sole purpose of conning the newb into spending cash on something he believes is better quality.

Invert, Empire and BT are all owned by KEE action sports. Recently, it looks like those three names are being brought together under the brand Empire (Even BT is Empire BT now).

To offer some clarity.

Invert is now under the Empire umbrella (always was in a way), similar to how BT is now Empire Battle Tested. Bringing the lines to a common name helps newer players find what they are looking for and give the experienced players l,ike yourselves, a common solidarity in their gear choice. The Empire Mini will only change its moniker and the other marker listed is the Empire Axe which has Mini technology in it.

And yes the Proflex. Flex8, and the Proshield will be under the Empire name as well. The other JT products will remain JT.

I will try to check in when able for additional questions or feel free to message me. And I hope this clears up any confusion :)
