angel thread, stock barrel fine. only worth changing if for some odd reason you wanted a different length......
My lad has the original barrel and an Empire 16" twister.
The original barrel seems a bit in accurate and varied.
The Twister is only a bit more accurate, but longer and heavier.
The last time we went to Unreal, Paul the gun tec, let him try a standard 16" Angel 05 barrel. It is 4" longer than the original but very noticeably more accurate over a distance.
Just thinking of a 14" Carbon Stiffi at the moment, as they don't really expand and contract the amount that Alloy barrels do and their quieter.
On another point, I was corrected recently for thinking that all Angel barrels have the same type of thread. They don't!!! The A1 and the G7 apparently have a Cocker thread and won't fit. Any Angel from LED/LCD/IR3 up to and including the Angel 06 will fit though. I hope that this has helped....Nobby

Just to clarify this a bit, from the 06 speed onwards the thread changed to a finer metric thread. Cocker/ego barrels will not fit the newer angels or any angels, although they look similar.
If any of you need an exceptional barrel for the speed 05/ a4/ a4 fly/ ir3/ lcd.

If your right, your right , I don't know. It was this thread that rosie posted about cocker threads, and as I have know idea, except upto 06 do fit.
