is it just my ir3 or do they all discharge a fully charged battery within a couple of days even with the isolator switch turned off?i heard there were problems with the circut boards of some ir3's-does anyone know if this could be causing the problem?

oh and if anyone can tell me why the grips resemble someones skin who's been in the sun for about 30 years i'd be gratefull!!

Ahh...more peeling gips......

Anyway, the batterys dont last long when left plugged in/out anyway....check too see if the battery is touching the frame, if so...then put cardboard around the battery.

Sounds bout average for an IR3! I know one on our team does that. . . .full charge the night before and half way through the next days play. . . .. . one dead IR3. . .fantastic!!

We've also had one go up in smoke. . .literally!!

I have only charged my battery 2 times since I bought it. The 1st time it discharged rather quickly. But I am sure it has been more than a month since the last charge and I did 2 training days on it and still had 3 bars. So I wouldn't say that is typical of an IR3. Did you make sure to do a full charge before use? Or should I ask if you did a full charge since you purchased it?

hmmm, charged it a full 5 hours when i first got it so the battery itself should be conditioned i would have thought:confused:

its only done 5000 cycles and its a bit of a pain chargi9ng one day only to find its discharged two days later, sigh looks like a trip to wdp is called for:mad:
