IR3 Info

Hey there i have an angel IR3 which i am selling, but i want to find out what COPS it has.

When i turn it on it just says mem 4 then goes to safe. Does anybody know how to find out what cops it has?

Probably doesn have COPS 2 as all the markers ive sen advertised have been MEM6 COPPS2

while i don't know exactly how to say what COPS you have, the fact that the board isn't mem6 doesn't mean you don't have COPS 2.

The only reason mem6 COPS2 is advertised is to show that the software is of the latest type.

Actually, as I recall, COPS II was a COPS software revision that was released with the Mem6 board revision, so having Mem4 actually DOES mean that you, in all likelihood, don't have COPS II. If in doubt, search around at www.angel-owners.com, and I'm sure you'll be able to find out.

im pritty sure that upgrading from mem 4 to mem 6 is possible too btw

Nah, I'll make it easier on you. Mem 1-5 are COPS I, Mem 6 is the only one with COPS 2 built in. From what I understand you can have an older board upgraded to COPS II for $35. So unless you have an upgraded board, you don't have COPS II on your Mem4.
