I had this idea back in another angel thread, why doesn't some one make a board for the IR3 and LCD with a higher ROF restriction, like the new Speed and A4? Or maybe even re-program the current boards, via data link or something. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do if you knew what you were doing, and you could theoretically make the ROF restriction whatever you want. It'd be cool to have a virtually unrestricted board, like the 66.6 bps board on the bushwhacker.
And before anybody gets all mouthy and puts on their superiority complex, I know very well that there's no way in the world that you can hit rates much higher than the mid to upper teens, but with a higher ROF restriction, all it means is that the board will recognize more pulls per Nth of a second (make N any fraction of a second), and that makes higher ROF's more easily attainable. So it might actually be useful.
