hello

What is the operating pressure when you gas up. Are you saying leaking down the barrel or the back chamber...
1. If the HPR is turned up to far this will cause the Ion to leak down the barrel. (almost off)
2. If there is a leak down the barrel one of the bolt o-rings may have gone.
3. Have the QEV are correctly threaded, this can also be another cause of the leak.

My ion has had crushed wire's before and it still works

Hello

170 is about right if most things are stock. Where is the leak coming from front or rear?

Are the QRV's ok?

You might need some o-rings.

Do you have a manual?

Has the trigger bolts been adjusted at all, does it activate the micro switch.

http://www.gogpaintball.com/products.php?product=Seal-Kit this is their US site but they have a base in the uk in Kent, (address, phone number at the bottom) for o-ring kit.

Where abouts in the UK are you, If you are near by I would have a look at it for you. I am just outside Letchworth.

Has it always had this issue, or has it happened since an upgrade. I've seen mixed reactions about the lucky bodies, leaks being one problem. Don't suppose he still has the stock body.

As mentioned before, this can happen in cases of low tank pressure. The banjo fitting doesn't have enough pressure to fully push the bolt back and seal the valve. Are you able to manually push the bolt back to seal the leak. Don't use your fingers, use a wooden spoon or something.
