ive heard that fitting the virtue eyes to your ion can be a complete biatch, anyone already installed them ??? and any tips as to not snap the buggers whilst doing it???

They are a pain, but its not hard.
The way i did it was to put one of the eyes in the holes, then push the board upwards while also pushing the other eye with an allen key so that it is not bending.

It's also important to ensure once installed the eyes are actually pointing at each other - otherwise your eyues will effectively always be off
