ion stop screw

hi, my ions stop screw is hitting the back of my grip frame causing it to wear.

any ideas how to prevent it as sticky tape does adhere to the material very well.

any stop plates availible??

and please keep comment relevent. and yes i do have a real gun, its called an ION

i asked a m8 about this as mine is starting to wear, and he suggested if i have a glue gun, to put a dab of glue either where its striking the frame, or put a dab on the back of the stop screw..
(needs Verry little..)

i havent tried it myself as i have no glue sticks..

does it actually matter?

Only thing i can think of is to cut a square of double sided tape, now thats a b*tch to get off things that its stuck too
