ion/shocker query

How similar are the ion and shocker;
would the shocker frame fit on the ion?
or vice versa?

are ion/shocker bolts interchangeable?
are the barrel threads the same?
are the feedneck threads the same?

dunno why you'd want to but could you put an ion front reg on a shocker?

...I don't know much about either marker; if they seem like simple qu's

have been looking into stuff like that as i'm getting my dirty mitts on a shocker

The bolts are very different with the IONs being much smaller with out the can around it.

Feednecks are the same thread

Shockers have their own barrel threads (shrugs) no idea why.

No idea about frames though.

no they ain't, ions don't have a manifold like the shocker.
The ions solenoid is in the frame attached to the board.

yeah, the ion and sp8 are meant to be the brothers aren't they??? i think they can share everything... also, i think the impy takes some ion stuffy, may just be a shared thread though

Fish the SP8 is an ion inside a plastic box, basically so they are one and the same

no they dont use the same solenoid
