Mine has no cover but is drilled for higher flow, shoots +/- 2 fps on my shocker all day with white box paint!

Will the reg fit on the ion, Mokie? I know bits and pieces can be mixed and matched just not sure which for the ion and shockers and does the drilling the amount of air used or does it increase the efficiency?

Yes, the reg will fit an Ion fine.
The reg uses the exact same air and i'm not sure but I noticed a slight increase in efficancy. Around 100 shots or so.
