using the manual and another source i manged to break down my ion till the only thing contecting the board and the body was 3 black wires, taking this as the connection to the vision, how to i completly remove the rest as i want to clean the eyes and clean the bolt any help would be sweet!!!!

See where the wires join the 'body'? That's a little plug - gently grasp the wires and pull them vertically out (from the body, remember, not from the board end). Then you can slide the exo-skelton off and proceed...

ahh thought it was that i presumed being the other white plug was stuck on so must that one be, cheers for your help dude

*careful* them wires are damn fragile...(one of my only grumbles with the marker)

I use a pair of tweezers, grab the body of the plug and lever it out, but it's up to you....

They are fragile, I'll give you that, though if memory serves the manual says its ok to pull out by the wires. It's really easy to pinch them - particularly with the QEV mod done, and when it gets a little easier to buy spares, I think it'll be worth keeping a couple in the toolkit!
