hi.... i was wondering if anyone knew if a qev would stop my pressure going down as my ROF increased...


and can someone direct me to a UK shop to buy one cos i cant seem to find any...

smartparts have their new 360 qev for bout a tenner i think but then u get shafted a tenner for postage so maybe some1 on the forum can get hold of em 4 ya?

as far as im awear the shootdown is due to the reg not recharging fast enough, so that might need maintaining

all the QEV does is alow you to lower the dwell, so if ya really wanted to check if a qev would help, try raising your dwell a couple of clicks, it could be that

ok thanks for the help guys but should i just keep looking after the stock reg or just go out and buy a new one... if so what reg would you people recommend

id keep the stock reg m8...i think it has a quicker recharge than a cp reg

I like planet eclipse personally, and wish them no disrespect, but don’t buy the eclipse QEV since it doesn’t fit and would require some shaving of the shell.

I would try and get a clippard QEV, lucky paintball http://www.lucky-paintball.com/ sell them, but it does require spending excess amounts on shipping (due to it being in America), but if you are placing an order with them I would recommend buying their stage 1 2 and 3 deal, which is fantastic for the price (I personally own one and if you would like any more comments on it feel free to pm me)

but to tell you the truth i had to mod my shell with the clippard QEV as well, and when i had a eclipse one it was better than the clippard one. With eclipse i had it working on aorund 8-10 clicks up and with the clipard one i now have its on 21 clicks up. Also the reason you will ant a qev for it to lower you dwell and and make you gun more efficient. So if you think you gun is a gas hog then get a qev but if not then there is no point. Oh also it makes you gun recharge quicker so in theory you can shoot quicker but as the stock board is caped to 17bps the gun wont let you.
