Ion Q Lock

hi,
i have just bought a Q lock for my ion but i doesn't screw in so the lock is at the back facing me and it means i have to have the lock sideways and it just looks stupid.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

have you tried screwing it in the gat, then twisting the locking mechanism to wear you want it unless its a different q-lock to mine

it isn't really made to face any particular way, if you make the lever as tight as possible and then lock a hopper in, and turn the hopper, it works like a jiant lever, or screwdriver, and will turn it around... it has to be on really really tight on the hopper though

ok maybe i didn't make myself clear,
The hopper screws in to the q lock but, the q lock diesn't screw into the gun tight enough without the q lock facing the wrong way.

Just screw the Q-lock into the ion then loosen the locking grip and turn it to wherever you want....Worked on every Q-lock ive had.

When the loose they spin around, when you tighten them thats where they stay

unless its the smart parts one which im not sure if the locking mechnasim is built into the whole thing,

yep, which is what i was saying... you can screw it further with the hopper in tight, than you can with your hands, and yeah, they sometimes face the wrong way
