Got an Ion for sale, as seen in the piccie completely broken down into it's component parts. It was my intention to rebuild it but a lack of air for testing and the small matter of an entire garden to get sorted out before our customary one day of Summer! Thus leaving me to offer someone a bargain.
All bits are working to the best of my knowledge (far better then the condition I bought it in )as in I have replaced any duff bits. It just needs assembling and you are good to go.
It comes with the white bodykit, Polished frame, Progressive barrel, Twistlock feedneck, scythe trigger, barrel sock and the rest being stock parts

This is why I'm not keen on the way the new rules work.

AS Jcooke did agree to the asking price which was the first in (10:45), admittedly by PM but I feel I must let him have the benefit of the doubt that he thought by just replying in the thread was acceptance enough.
Vmaxnick, I hope this sits ok with you as I know technically you were the first to post up in the thread with the price as per the rules and I do understand why the new rules were brought in to keep things out in the open and stop any shady deals but I gotta give the guy a chance as he might of just made an honest mistake. If nothing happens in the next 24 hours then consider it yours.
As I have said, I hope you are ok with this and I'll post up when anything happens.

At the end of the day, the gat is yours to sell mate, but if some people bend the new rules it's not a level playing field for the rest of us!
Problem as I see it is; if you pm someone, then post up pm sent, others don't know if you have agreed to asking price, made an offer or low balled, but it puts others off making a genuine offer because they think you got there first.
Besides, jcookes was questioning whether the eyes were present in the deal, whereas I accepted the deal as was!
They're not my rules mate, I just think we should either stick to them, or sell the stuff elsewhere!

I gave James the benefit of the doubt that he made a simple mistake and he has now bought and paid for the gat and apologised for his error. He PM'd me @ 10:45 and posted @ 10:46. That sits fine with me and the deal is done, end of.
You are right that I may sell to whom I wish and if that is more acceptable I can evoke that clause but I much prefer to conclude matters in the way I have explained and leave it that way.

I think in this instance you are probably right and the guy no doubt did make an honest mistake. Besides, I'm hardly desperate for another Ion anyway

Thing is though, if we all make judgment calls instead of following the rules, don't be peeved when it happens to you!

This is an end to the matter as far as I am concerned, you know my thoughts on the subject!

It has happened to me before and I'm sure will happen again with or without the new rules, I guess I just like to see the good in people.
Or as I said, I could just not choose to sell it to you and solve it that way
