ion problem

my ion is leaking air it sounds like it is coming from the bolt but i checked and i cant see what is up can anyone suggest what is up? and how to solve this problem

Does it leak whenever air is in the gun, or only when you fire? Sounds like an O-Ring could be gone - Take the bolt out, check orings (changing any dodgy ones) and make sure it is well lubed.

Could be a hose attached to the noid also, but try the bolt orings first if you suspect it is coming from there. Can you feel the air leak when you put your finger into the breech?

also check the banjo fittings sometimes you can put them in wrong and they can come loose

sounds like a Battery problem


or its the o rings in the breach eather side of the feed neck NOT ON THE BOLT



also Leave the Noide hose be or its £70 replasment time.


the back little hose is a pig on the ion chanse it.

do you have a QEV FITTED????

Ahha, told by the Ion master

I forgot about battery - Can be the cause of many weird problems on Ions so change it out for a fresh, non-rechargeable one and see if it makes a difference before anything else.

lol i will try the battery and i do have a QEV fitted and i would get an ego but money is always the problem

yeah doing that is not the best of ideas if it fires lol. Try taking the bolt out checking for and nicks etc in the seals and re-lube. Doubt it now but my QEV used to leak for a while may be something for another time.

lol it was safe lol the want any paint in it, i will have a look at the bolt again but when i looked there was nothing wrong
