not so much as a problem, more like a query.
when my ion is sitting between long games ie 15 or more mins the pressure on the gauge seems to rise even sometimes upto 20psi. this makes my first shot not the true fps.

when i chrono i let off 10shots anyway to get the true fps, but just woundering if anyone else has had the same experiance??

is it normal??

cheers

its called pressure creep, its because the reg isnt fully sealing and excess pressure is allowed past the piston.

as i said before, clean and lube the minireg, and changing the oring is a good idea as well

There you go thinking literally.

You have to think of the minireg as a restriction to a much higher pressure. And it's letting a set amount of air through when it's needed. The leak would be from the high pressure side (850psi) to the low pressure side(200psi).

So instead of a steady pressure of 200psi(or whatever runs these baby's), there is a leak of higher pressure air trickling through, and raising the pressure by "x" amount.

Solution, service the minireg.
