What pressure should an ion be running with Lucky stage 1,2 and 3 (LBM bolt) and QEV?
How about if a firebolt was used in place of the lucky one?

It's for a project gat so need to select a noid that will take the pressure.
Any other suggestions for getting the pressure as low as possible whilst still achieving 290-300fps in all conditions.

tbh its all down to the fps, some have a higher pressure to get 280fps and the same lower, like my ion ran at about 170 and dwell of 52 to get 275fps,then i added a firebolt and qev now its down to about 110psi and dwell at 19,think most stock ions are about 160-180psi for 270fps but all are diffrent as my mrs has a stock ion and a dwell of 52(stock setting) and the pressure is only 120psi.

Hope this helps.

lovvverly. Hope I see it at the masters on sunday ;)
Unfortunately it's not working now, broke the crappy plastic barb of the noid hence the search for a decent noid.

I do have a couple more ideas so it may just be running by the weekend

Starting to think i won't get a reliable answer to the operating pressure, must be down to the inacuracy of mini gauges (a lot of the seem to have an issue with the numbered disk spinning slightly).

Guns even if the same with the same ups can habd different pressure. Its probly best to start low while slowly uping the pressure n dwell until you have whats best for the marker or your personal preference.

Thing is i want to use a different noid which is difficult to select unless i know the operating pressure first.
There are a few that will work at 100-110psi then the choice comes down to one or two that will take 145psi and possibly 1 that will take 200psi.

At each stage the cost of the noid seems to double as well as being more difficult to get in the available space and require more circuitry to be able to energise them.

I was hoping someone could say that with the stage 2 and 3 and a certain bolt i could run at say 110psi even if i require excesive dwell to be able to do it. Efficiency is not that much of a concern, if i can get 1000 shots off a 68/4500 that's fine.
