Ion membrane mod

I have some how broken the on/off button on my ion so to turn it on/off i need to put a allen key i the gap were the button used to be. This it not going to last very long because it wareing the whole button off. So i decided me choices were to either buy a new board (Blackheart/virtue) do the membrane mod or buy a stock board.

I have no idea where to get the stuff for the membrane mod so if any one could help me with this it would be great. If not dose any one have a old stock board for sale?

you can get the membrane pads from Dye or punisher in the states but the best way is to post up in classifieds - i did and loads of people have them

as for the connector there the same as on halo boards so maplin (electronics) or nick one off a motherboard (pc)

well i got hold of someone from US who sells the kits. but it also has the LEDs so it cost abit more. I thought i would try here 1st and see if i can save the expensive delivery charges.

Would you say there no point geting a new board?

if your going to do the led mod aswell you can get them in maplin too - i modded one for a mate (pad mod)and its a massive improvement but personally i would replace the board and do the mod -but for cheapness sake, you dont have too - just do the mod up to you

Yeah thanks, he is the person selling the kits. i think i may just buy the kit off him as then i will get what i need. If i try buy it i will prob get wrong things
