I heard a small leak coming from the ion, so when i took the body apart i realised that the banjo next to the eyes was not fully tightened, so i tightened it and the leak went away.

But...when i went to put the body back together another leak has come about. When i push the body together i get a very strong hiss, but when i leave it apart it is absolutely fine. And if i get the body back together, it doesnt leak when its not bolted on fully and is left loose.

I've had this before, just make sure the body is on properly & all the LP hoses do fit onto the banjo's tight as when they get used a lot they can get loose & work themselves off with the pressure going through, you might need to change them...

if the hoses are too long they will also twist as you put the grip on (especially common on the front if you put a qev in and don't cut to correct length).

so yeah, check:
hose length and banjo position for fouling.
banjo o-ring.
hoses fit board/qev barbs properly.
hoses are inserted into banjo properly.

other than that you should be fine.
