Ion Leak

Hey!

I've recently bought an ion, and it seems to be leaking from where the macroline joins into the elbow connected to the regulator. When I put a different macroline in, it leaks less but still a steady flow.

Got any ideas anyone?
Thanks.

there is an o-ring in the fitting which may be damaged or missing, if you have another fitting change it over.
Check the end of your macroline is square and in good condition, remembering that it's the outside of the macroline that seals not the end.

You will need to bed the macro line in, push it on one of the ends & keep twisting it, & do the same to the other side, you should find it will bed itself in OK..

PS.. What pressure is the reg gauge reading, as it should be around the 180 mark any higher might be forcing the air through to much...

Cliff...:)

It's not the pressure as I just turned it down and it's still doing it. It's actually leaking out from where the hose goes into the elbow, so I doubt it's the actual reg.
