Wondering if there are any mods to the ion grip frame or cover that allow to mess with the board with out having to remove the cover?

you could ultimately cut a door into the grip and also ultimately cut a door to getting yourself thrown off sites whilst your at it

They're made that way for a reason. Most places won't let you use it if you can adjust settings such as mode/dwell/rate of fire etc in the game.

but if you do the membrane pad mod properly then you can change the board settings from the grip frame - as stated though it wouldnt be tourney legal - depending on series - marshall etc -good for rec-ballers though -its a very standard mod

Membrane pad mod wont allow you to adjust settings, as you need a button for dwell up, one for dwell down and one for on off.
Two membrane pads would be required.
Dont bother...just get a Virtue board when they are released....

thats a shocker mate - the ION only requiers (sp) a programming button and the power button to cycle through and adjust modes and dwell -ive done the mod
and Dash im only joking about the bias against ION owners

and i wouldnt worry about doing the mod for rec ball i dont think anyone would really care loads of people do it because of that stupid on/off button

Hmm...is there just two buttons on the stock board then? Is there another on teh Blackheart? I forget now...I now you pul teh trigger for 3 seconds to enter teh mode you want tpo change then its the on/off for up and the other one for down...so I guess yeah, it would work and i'm a twat (on this occasion!)
