is it just my ion or is it the norm when i put my marker over the chrono it +/- 10-20 fps is there anything i can do to make it more consistant i have a blackheart board and firebolt fitted would either of these be causing the problem

i would say thats normal because i have hardly ever had a consistant feet per second thingy

Its not normal. With good paint and a well setup and serviced gat you should be able to get very good concistency over the chrono.

already have a smart parts qev and gat is stripped and cleaned after every use , just that when i read the reviews of new markers in PGI there seems to be very little deviation over the chrono and made me wonder wether i had a rogue gat

good servicing good paint and good barrel match works for my ion only deviates +- maybe 4-5 fps but reg needs bedding /breaking in from new first
