how you get it off? i read somewhere u need to take the gold circular pin at the back off but i cant seem to manage it ?

The doughnut is accessed by taking the internals out of the shell, unscrewing the breach from the chamber and it is found sitting around the bolt in the chamber.Revolt said:

The metal ring comes off by prising apart the ends (it's a circlip). It is best to buy some circlip pliers and do the job properly - or you could end up with a VERY scratched fire chamber.

Just buy a cheap set of Circlip Pliers from Halfords...you can set them so as you squeeze, tehy open up...which is easier than pissing around with pliers
